I’m seeing a ton of boats on FB Markeplace for sale right now cheap. Besides the time of year, they’re cheap because a bunch of them have junk engines. There are some pretty great deals for somebody who can turn a wrench; I just wish I had the wherewithal right now (and a place to work on one).

Meh. No interest.

That is actually my plan. I thought all the unused rental fleets would have driven prices down, but that hasn’t been the case ...yet.

Just wait, right now the Boat, RV, and powersports industries are going gangbusters. A couple years from now when those people can start going to indoor events again/realize that they hardly used their toy during a pandemic, and use it even less once its over, they’re going to be dumping them enmasse and they’re going to sell for a song. I strongly plan to capitalize on that.

My wife and I were just talking about that over the weekend. With everyone running out to buy RVs and campers so they have a safe way to travel (or somewhere to escape/quarantine) we figure that there should be a glut of used camping equipment on the market a few months after we get a vaccine. (Assuming we EVER get a vaccine.)
